M40 SPEEDWAY UPDATES

CREDIT CARDS/DEBIT CARDS:

Credit Cards and Debit Cards will be accepted at M40 Speedway for the 2009 season. American Express will not be accepted.

DRIVERS INCENTIVE:

When a driver brings 4 crew members (not counting the driver), the driver will receive a free pit pass for that evening.

Please review before you visit the speedway. We hope you will find it informative and it will answer any questions you may have before you come out!!

RULES FOR 2009:

Updated rules are now posted. These rules will be used during the 2009 season.

GENERAL RULES:

There have been new changes. This is for the driver's safety as we do not want any person to get hurt when it could have been prevented. Driver's minimum age requirements, registering yourself and your car, new qualifying procedure, etc are listed in the GENERAL RULES.

DRIVERS' SAFETY - REMINDER:

Again, there have been a few updates – mostly concerning the safety equipment. Safety equipment must be 3 years or newer. This is for your well being. We want a safe season and do not want to see any person become hurt especially if it could have been prevented.
THIS IS A REMINDER – CHECK YOUR SAFETY EQUIPMENT.

2009 SCHEDULE:

This is a tentative schedule. We have been adding special sponsors for certain races and different touring classes as we confirm dates.  We have also added a 6 race Late Model Challenge Series with New Paris Speedway.  Please check out the schedule and the details.

WEDNEDAY NIGHT PRACTICE SESSION:

We will continue to practice each Wednesday for the 2009 season. This may change to every other Wednesday as the season progresses and fewer sessions are needed. The cost is $10.00 per person in the pits and grandstand is free. Gates will be open 5:00 PM to dusk.

TIRES:

Late Models – Hoosiers 970; Prostock – 880; and Purestocks and 4-cylinders– 790. Tires will be available at the track and The Race Shop the week ending March 20, 2009. Tires purchased through The Race Shop are cash and carry – no mounting..
